The LANDTEK CM8822 platings thickness gauge is a dual-function measuring instrument with F Probe and N Probe for the measurement of non-conductive coatings on magnetically permeable objects and the thickness of nonconductive coatings on nonmagnetic metal substrates, respectively. The instrument features a digital design. Measurement range is 0 to 1000 microns. It supports free conversion of metric and imperial units. The minimum measurement area is 6mm.
1. Measurement principles can be selected using magnetic Induction and eddy current measurement 2. Two Measurement modes are available, Single Measurement mode and Continuous Measurement mode 3. With male and imperial unit conversion, automatic shutdown and undervoltage prompt functions 4. It can automatically remember the calibrated value and automatically identify the material of the tested substrate 5. There is a buzzer sound prompt during operation, and it does not sound during continuous measurement 6. Integral Instrument with Better Stability and Strong Repeatability 7, split coating platings thickness gauge provides a variety of Probes, more mobile measurement
CM8822 coating platings thickness gauge uses magnetic Induction method and eddy current method for measurement. F Probe is based on magnetic Induction principle for measurement of non-ferromagnetic Coating thickness on ferromagnetic metal substrates such as steel and iron; N Probe is based on eddy current principle for measurement of nonconductive coating thickness on nonmagnetic metal substrates such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, etc.
Manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industry, commodity inspection and other testing fields
1. Choose the appropriate F Probe or N Probe according to the material of the tested substrate. 2. Turn on the instrument power supply and select Single measurement or Continuous Measurement mode 3. Place the Probe vertically on the measured surface to ensure contact with the smallest measurement surface (φ 6mm) 4, read the measurement data on the LCD screen 5. If you need unit conversion, you can switch between male and imperial displays 6. After use, the instrument will automatically shut down or manually shut down
• Make sure that the thickness of the substrate is not less than 0.3mm before measurement • Note the minimum radius of curvature limit: F Probe convex 1.5mm/concave 25mm, N Probe convex 3mm/concave 50mm • Ambient Temperature should be maintained at 0~ 40 ℃, relative humidity 10~ 90% RH • Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments • Regularly check the battery power and replace it in time when the voltage is low • Probes should be kept clean to avoid abrasion • When measuring, ensure that the measured surface is flat and meets the minimum measurement area requirements
