Overview
The CM8825f Coating thickness gauge is a Handheld Coating thickness gauge with built-in Probe integrated structure design under the LANDTEK brand. The shape is ergonomic, and the hand-held part has a sinkage design to prevent shaking or sliding during measurement. The instrument adopts the principle of magnetic Induction, which is suitable for the measurement of the thickness of the non-magnetic conductive cover layer on the magnetically conductive material. The measurement is fast and accurate, and supports data transmission through a connected PC.
Features
1. Single and Continuous Measurement modes available
2. Metric/imperial unit conversion
3. With functions such as manual shutdown, automatic shutdown and undervoltage prompt
4. Automatically remember the calibrated value and automatically identify the material of the tested substrate
5. There is a buzzer prompt tone during operation, and the buzzer does not sound during continuous measurement
6. Use RS-232C data cable and software to communicate with PC
7. Provide optional configuration Bluetooth Bluetooth data output selection
8. Suitable for one-handed operation, with "Big Probe", large contact surface provides better Stability, accurate results and strong Repeatability
Principle
CM8825F Coating thickness gauge adopts the principle of magnetic Induction to measure the thickness of non-ferromagnetic coatings and platings on ferromagnetic metal substrates such as steel and iron through magnetic Sensor.
Applications
Platings, paints layer, enamel layer, aluminum tile, copper tile, pasteurite tile, phosphating layer, paper thickness measurement, hull paints and underwater structural attachments, lacquer, powder, plastic, rubber, synthetic materials, phosphating layer, chromium, zinc, lead, aluminum, tin, cadmium, porcelain, enamel, oxidation layer
Steps
1. Select Single or Continuous Measurement mode
2. Probe the thickness gauge into contact with the tested substrate
3. Read the thickness value on the display screen
4. Optional connection to PC or Bluetooth to transmit data
Notice
* Probe stable contact during measurement to prevent shaking or sliding
* Operating temperature 0~ 40 ℃ and relative humidity 10~ 90% RH
* Regularly check battery voltage to avoid low voltage affecting Measurement accuracy
* The calibrated value is automatically memorized, but it is necessary to ensure that the base material is correctly recognized
* The buzzer does not sound during continuous measurement, and the result needs to be confirmed through the display screen
