Overview
DR3000 dual-use Coating thickness gauge is an integrated dual-use thickness gauge. It is a nondestructive testing instrument for the measurement of film thickness of platings on the surface of metal materials according to the national industry JJG818-2005 standard. It has the characteristics of simple use, convenient portability, good repeatability and excellent performance. It adopts magnetic thickness measurement method to measure magnetic film thickness on metal substrates according to different metal substrates, or adopts eddy current thickness measurement method to measure nonmagnetic film thickness on metal substrates.

Principle
DR3000 dual-use Coating thickness gauge uses different measurement methods according to different metal substrates. Magnetic thickness measurement method can be used for nondestructive measurement of magnetic metal substrates (such as steel, iron) Film thickness of nonmagnetic coatings (such as galvanized, chromium, imprisoned, enamel, rubber, powder, paints, Electrophoresis, enamel, anti-corrosion layer, spray, paint, etc.). Eddy current thickness measurement method can nondestructive measurement nonmagnetic metal substrate (such as aluminum, copper, stainless steel) on the nonconductive film thickness (such as paints, powder, plastic, rubber, enamel, enamel, Electrophoresis, anti-corrosion layer, spray layer, etc.).
Applications
Magnetic thickness measurement method: nonmagnetic coatings on steel and iron substrates such as galvanized, chromium, imprisoned, enamel, rubber, powder, paints, Electrophoresis, enamel, anti-corrosion layer, spraying, coating, etc.; eddy current thickness measurement method: aluminum, copper, stainless steel substrates on nonconductive coatings such as paints, powder, plastic, rubber, enamel, enamel, Electrophoresis, anti-corrosion layer, spraying layer, etc
Steps
1. Select the test method: continuous test (CONTINUE) or single (SINGLE) measurement method
2. To calibrate: use zero point calibrate or two point calibrate
3. Automatic identification of substrate type: iron-based or non-iron-based
4. Perform measurement: There is a beep during the operation (single measurement mode)
5. View statistical results: MAX Maximum (MAX), MIN Minimum (MIN), Average (MEA)
6. Save data: 2000 measurement data can be stored, divided into 10 groups of data storage
7. Optional connection to computer communication to read out stored data
8. Use manual/automatic shutdown function
