Principle
DR5000S Coating thickness gauge adopts the principle of electromagnetic induction to accurately measure the coating thickness by measuring the change of magnetic Induction between magnetic metal substrate and nonmagnetic coating. The instrument uses magnetic Induction method to realize nondestructive detection of coating thickness.
Applications
Automotive paints, automotive evaluation, manufacturing, metal processing, chemical, commodity inspection
Steps
1. Select the test method: continuous test or single measurement
2. Calibrate: You can choose zero point calibrate or two point calibrate
3. Place the probe on the surface to be measured for measurement
4. View the measurement results, the instrument provides statistical functions
5. Save measurement data to memory
6. Optional connection to computer to read data
