The LANDTEK CM8829fn Coating Thickness Gauge is a built-in probe type paints Coating thickness gauge with eddy Current and magnetic Induction dual-use technology, with single and continuous measurement modes. The instrument can automatically identify different substrate materials. Measurement range 0~ 1250 microns and automatic shutdown function are suitable for thickness measurement in Coatings, paints, metals and other fields.

Principle
CM8829FN Coating thickness gauge adopts magnetic Induction and eddy Current Measurement principles. Magnetic Induction Sensor is used for the measurement of non-ferromagnetic Coating thickness on ferromagnetic metal substrates such as steel and iron; eddy Current Sensor is used for the measurement of non-conductive Coating thickness on copper, aluminum, zinc, tin and other substrates.

Steps
1. Select Single or Continuous Measurement mode
2. Probe into contact with the tested surface
3. The instrument automatically recognizes the substrate material and makes measurements
4. Read the thickness value on the display
5. Data transmission with PC via data cable or Bluetooth
