Overview
LANDTEK CM8829S Coating thickness gauge is a professional instrument for measuring Coating thickness. It uses magnetic Induction and eddy Current Measurement principles to measure the thickness of non-ferromagnetic coatings on ferromagnetic metal substrates and nonconductive coatings on nonmagnetic metal substrates. It is widely used in manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industry, commodity inspection and other fields.
Features
1. Split platings thickness gauge CM-8829S with single and continuous two Measurement mode optional
2. Metric/imperial unit conversion
3. With functions such as manual shutdown, automatic shutdown and undervoltage prompt
4. Automatically remember the calibrated value and automatically identify the material of the tested substrate
5. There is a buzzer prompt tone during operation, and the buzzer does not sound during continuous measurement
6. Split platings thickness gauge CM-8829S adopts USB data cable output, RS-232C data cable and software communication with PC
7. Optional configuration Bluetooth ™ data output selection
8. split, provide a variety of Probes, more mobile measurement
Principle
CM8829S uses magnetic Induction Sensor to measure the non-ferromagnetic Coating thickness on ferromagnetic metal substrates such as steel and iron, and uses eddy current Sensor to measure the thickness of nonconductive coatings on substrates such as copper, aluminum, zinc, and tin. The instrument automatically recognizes the material of the measured substrate and adopts the corresponding Measurement principle.
Applications
Manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industry, commodity inspection and other testing fields
Steps
1. Select Single or Continuous Measurement mode
2. Aim the Probe at the surface of the object to be measured
3. The instrument automatically recognizes the substrate material and makes measurements
4. Read the thickness value on the display
5. Data can be transmitted through USB, RS-232C or Bluetooth communication with PC
Notice
* Operating temperature range is 0~ 40 ℃
* relative humidity range of 10~ 90% RH
* Minimum measurement surface is φ 6mm
* Minimum radius of curvature of ferromagnetic matrix: convex 1.5mm/concave 25mm
* Minimum radius of curvature of non-ferromagnetic matrix: convex 3mm/concave 50mm
The thinnest substrate thickness is 0.3mm.
* Pay attention to the low voltage prompt of the battery and replace the battery in time
* Buzzer does not sound during continuous measurement
