The PHYNIX Easy x I-F HR Coating thickness gauge is a general-purpose device of the Surfi x ® easy X series for daily operation and laboratory measurements. The series uses magnetic Induction and eddy current measurement principles to automatically identify substrate types, provides a one-click calibrate function for improved measurement accuracy, and has built-in online statistics for fast display of Average, Standard Deviation and Maximum MIN Minimum.

Principle
The thickness gauge uses both magnetic Induction and eddy current measurement methods in accordance with DIN EN ISO 2178 and 2360. The device automatically recognizes the substrate type and selects the corresponding measurement method, providing High Accuracy measurement on both steel and non-ferrous substrates, especially for thin coating measurement.

Steps
1. Turn on the device power supply
2. Place the Probe vertically on the surface of the measurement object
3. Equipment automatically recognizes substrate type and selects measurement method
4. Read measurement results
5. For improved accuracy, single point calibrating function can be used
