The German PHYNIX Surfix Easy x I-FN HR dual-use film thickness gauge is a dual-function Coating thickness gauge with measurement Film thickness values up to 3000 μm. It is a Portable thickness gauge with built-in probe type. Suitable for daily operations as well as demanding laboratory measurements, this series is suitable for customers who want a simple way to measure coating thickness but need statistical evaluation, Abrasion Resistance measurement and high production mass. The one-click calibrate function can be used to perform difficult measurement tasks, and the built-in online statistics quickly display the mean and Standard Deviation as well as the maximum and minimum measurement values.

Principle
Two proven Film thickness measurement methods are used: Magnetic and eddy current (DIN EN ISO 2178 and 2360). The FN type uses both methods and the selection is done automatically when placing the Probe on the measurement object. Both provide the highest accuracy, even in the case of thin coatings, whether on steel or non-ferrous metals.
