Overview
QTY-32 cylindrical mandrel bending tester is a YONGLIDA brand product. It is mainly used to measure the flexibility of Paints and varnish films as one of the key indicators to measure Coating performance. The instrument provides important reference value for Coating variety selection and application by evaluating the cracking or disbonding performance of coatings under standard conditions when they are bent around cylindrical mandrel.
Features
1. The diameter of the shaft rod is diverse, including 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 18, 20, 25 and 32mm.
2.The swirl/spin handle adjustment is greater than 17mm, and the allowable gap is 0.05mm when it is close to the test rod
3. The lifting capacity of the support plate parts is greater than 17mm, and the allowable gap is 0.1mm when attached to the test rod
4. Suitable for sample testing with thickness below 1.0mm
Principle
The tester works based on the principle of different film ductility to substrate under different bending radii. The flexibility of the film is determined by observing the cracking or disbonding of the film when bent on different diameter shaft rods. The diameter of the shaft rods ranges from 2mm to 32mm, covering a variety of test conditions.
Applications
Paints, varnishes and related coatings performance testing
Standards
GB/T6742-86、ISO1519-73、ASIMD522、DIN53152、GB6742、ISO1519
Steps
1. Spreader, drying and thickness measurement according to product standard requirements
2. Place the tester at the edge of the workbench to ensure that the adjustment handle is easy to operate and can be inserted into the sample
3. Select the appropriate shaft rod according to the product requirements, insert it into the base of the tester and the shaft rod hole, and tighten it with manual nuts
Notice
• The allowable gap is 0.05mm when the swirl/spin handle is attached to the test rod
• The allowable gap is 0.1mm when the support plate parts are attached to the test rod
• Only suitable for sample testing with thickness below 1.0mm
• Ensure that the tester is placed in a position that is easy to operate the handle and insert the sample
