Principle
The cone plate Rheometer calculates fluid viscosity by swirling/spinning the rotor through the sample, measuring shear rate and shear stress. The built-in PT100 temperature Probe and ARM processor ensure fast and accurate data processing, support real-time display of rheological Linear dispersion and multiple viscosity unit conversions.
Applications
Medium viscosity fluids: hot-melt adhesives, coatings, Resin, starch, silk screen inks, surface preparation, organic solvents, frost, food, gel, chewing gum, plastic sol, etc.; High viscosity fluids: Adhesive, gel, sealing agent, asphalt, Printing ink, chocolate, tar, molasses, paste, synthetic polymers, epoxy polymers, vinyl esters, roofing materials
Steps
1. Connect the power supply and turn it on, use Touchscreen to select the operation mode
2. Install the appropriate rotor and select the rotor number according to the sample viscosity
3. Set the temperature range (5 ℃~ 250 ℃) and speed (5-1000rpm)
4. Load the sample to ensure that the sample volume meets the rotor requirements
5. Start measurement, observe the viscosity value and rheological Linear dispersion displayed on the screen
6. Save data as needed, support single point, continuous or timing mode
7. After the measurement is completed, clean the rotor and shut down

• When selecting the rotor, refer to the rotor parameter table to ensure that the sample volume and viscosity range match
• Check the temperature setting before measurement to avoid exceeding the range of 5 ° C to 250 ° C
• Keep passwords properly when using password protection to prevent unauthorized modification
• Pay attention to the alarm prompt when exceeding the measurement range, and adjust the test conditions in time
Periodically calibrate instruments to ensure measurement accuracy +/- 2% (F. S) and temperature accuracy +/- 0.1 ° C
