The LANDTEK HM-6580 hardness gauge is a small-volume Portable Leeb hardness tester with an aluminum alloy housing for high durability. It can measure the hardness of 9 different materials, including steel and cast steel, metallurgical tool steel, forged steel, gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, cast aluminum alloy, pure copper, copper-zinc alloy (brass), copper-tin alloy (bronze), etc. The hardness gauge comes standard with a D-type Impact device, which can be purchased separately as a Miscellaneous type Impact device. It is suitable for workpieces with a minimum thickness of 3mm. It uses key operation and digital display design.
1. Manual and automatic shutdown functions. 2. Low battery voltage indication. 3. Small size, easy to use in small spaces. 4. Each test result can be displayed repeatedly, and gross errors can be deleted. 5. The test material and test direction can be selected through the keyboard. 6. It can realize the mutual conversion between the six Hardness (HL, HRC, HRB, HB, HV, HS). 7. 50 Measured values and test status can be stored, including material, test direction, Hardness and other information. 8. Allows users to calibrate and make measurements more accurate. 9. With RS232 interface, it is convenient for computer communication. 10. Use "USB data cable output" and "RS-232 data cable output" to communicate with PC.
This hardness gauge is based on the principle of Leeb hardness testing. Hardness value is calculated by measuring the ratio of rebound speed to Impact speed by the Impact device on the surface of the material. The user can select the material and test direction through the keyboard, and the device automatically converts and displays a variety of Hardness standards.
Installed machinery or assembly parts, mold cavities, heavy workpieces, Pressure Vessels, turbo-generator sets and their equipment failure analysis, Test space is very small workpieces, bearings and other parts, requiring formal original records of test results, material classification of metal material warehouses, rapid inspection of multiple measurement parts of large workpieces
1. Turn on the power supply of the device. 2. Select the test material and test direction through the keyboard. 3. Impact device aligned with the workpiece surface for measurement. 4. Read and record the Hardness value on the LCD display. 5. The measurement data can be stored or deleted. 6. Turn off the power after use.
The minimum radius of curvature of the specimen is Rmin = 50mm (Rmin = 10mm when using a special-shaped support ring). * The minimum weight of the specimen is 2kg of stable support (0.1kg needs to be coupled). The minimum test thickness is 0.8mm. * Operating temperature is 0~ 40 ℃, Humidity ≤ 90%. * Powered by 2 AA batteries, pay attention to the low battery voltage indication. When storing measurement data, make sure to select the correct material and test direction. Periodically calibrate equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
