Overview
PN-PT6C paper and Cardboard thickness tester is a mechanical thickness testing instrument designed according to the national standard GB/T451.3, mainly suitable for various single-layer or multi-layer paper and Cardboard (not suitable for Corrugated Board), Cardboard, carton production, scientific research and commodity inspection and other enterprises and departments commonly used measurement tools.

Principle
The instrument makes contact with the sample by applying the contact pressure specified in the standard (100 +/- 10 kPa) to the measurement head of the specified area, and accurately reads the thickness value of the paper or Cardboard by measuring the displacement of the head (such as the pointer dial).

Steps
1. Place the instrument on a stable bench.
2. According to the Sample type, confirm that the instrument meets the corresponding standard requirements.
3. Lift the measurement head and place the paper or Cardboard sample under the measurement table.
4. Slowly lower the measurement head so that it is in full contact with the sample and apply standard pressure.
5. After the pointer is stable, read the thickness value from the measurement head.
6. Lift the measurement head, take out the sample, and the test is complete.
Notice
This instrument is not suitable for thickness measurement of Corrugated Board.
• Make sure the instrument is placed on a stable surface before use.
• When placing the sample, ensure that it is flat and free of wrinkles.
• Slowly lower the measurement head during measurement to avoid Impact.
• When reading a value, wait until the pointer is completely stable.
• Maintain and calibrate instruments regularly to ensure Measurement accuracy.
