Overview
PN-PT6D paper and Cardboard thickness tester is a mechanical thickness testing instrument designed according to the national standard GB/T451.3, mainly suitable for single-layer or multi-layer paper and Cardboard (not suitable for Corrugated Board), Cardboard, carton production, scientific research and commodity inspection and other enterprises and departments commonly used measurement tools.

Principle
The instrument presses the paper or Cardboard sample under the standard contact pressure (100 +/- 10 kPa) through a measurement head with a standard contact area (200 +/- 5mm ²), and the thickness value is directly displayed by the displacement of the measurement head.

Steps
1. Place the instrument on a stable bench.
2. Turn on the power supply and check whether the digital display head is zero.
3. Lift the measurement head and place the paper or Cardboard sample under the measurement table.
4. Slowly lower the measurement head so that it is in full contact with the sample under standard pressure.
5. After the display value is stable, read and record the thickness value.
6. Lift the measurement head, remove the sample, and proceed to the next measurement or end the operation.
Notice
This instrument is not suitable for thickness measurement of Corrugated Board.
• Make sure the instrument is placed on a stable surface before use.
• Make sure the sample is flat and free of wrinkles during measurement.
• Drop the measurement head slowly and smoothly to avoid Impact.
• Regularly clean the measurement surface and keep the instrument clean.
When not in use for a long time, please turn off the power.
