Overview
SUNDOO LX-D Model D Shore Shore Durometer is an instrument for measuring the Hardness of vulcanized rubber and plastic products. The supporting testing device rack (available separately) can be used in the laboratory to determine the standard Hardness value of rubber and plastic standard test pieces. It can also be used to measure the surface Hardness value of rubber or plastic objects on the equipment with a hand-held watch head.

Principle
The LX-D Shore Durometer is pressed into the surface of the material to be tested by applying a standard pressure (F = 445HD) on the pressing needle, and is converted into a Shore D-type Hardness value (0~ 100HD) according to the pressing depth (travel range of the pressing needle 0~ 2.5mm) to achieve Hardness determination of vulcanized rubber and plastic products.

Steps
1. Use the hardness gauge supporting testing device rack (to be purchased separately) for the determination of laboratory standard test pieces.
2. Hardness measurement of rubber or plastic objects on the equipment directly by hand-held hardness gauge head.
