Overview
The SUNDOO LXB-A type A Shore Shore Durometer is a two-pointer type A Shore Shore Durometer, mainly used to determine the Hardness value of vulcanized rubber and plastic products. The hardness gauge can be matched with a rack test or a manual test. It can be used to measure the standard Hardness value of rubber and plastic standard test pieces in the laboratory. The handheld Shore Shore Durometer head test can measure the surface Hardness value of rubber or plastic objects installed on the equipment.
Features
1. Double Pointer A Shore Shore Durometer Design
2. Can be matched with rack test or manual test
3. Travel range of pressure needle 0~ 2.5mm
4. Measurement range 0~ 100HA, Effective Measurement range 10~ 90HA
5. measurement error +/- 1HA
6. Dimension small, light weight (115 * 60 * 25mm, 0.16kg)
7. Pressure at the end of the needle F = 550 + 75HA (mN)
Principle
The LXB-A Type A Shore Durometer uses the press-in Hardness test method to determine the Hardness value of the material based on the Travel of the pinch and the pressure applied by applying pressure to a rubber or plastic sample. The pressure at the end of the pinch is related to the Shore Type A hardness gauge reading, and the formula is F = 550 + 75HA (mN).
Applications
Rubber and plastic products
Standards
GB/T531-2008 "Vulcanized rubber or thermal plasticity rubber press-in Hardness test method, Part 1: Shore Shore Durometer method", ISO7619-1:2004 "Vulcanized rubber or thermal plasticity rubber press-in Hardness test method, Part 1: Shore Shore Durometer method (Shore Hardness) ", JJG304-2003 "Type A Shore Shore Durometer verification procedure"
Steps
1. Select Test method: matching rack test or manual test
2. Align the hardness gauge with the sample to be tested
3. Apply pressure to bring the stylus into contact with the sample surface
4. Read the Hardness value displayed by the double pointer
5. Record measurement results
Notice
• The supporting testing device rack needs to be purchased separately
• Make sure the pin acts perpendicular to the sample surface during measurement
Measurement range 10~ 90HA
• Periodically calibrated for Measurement accuracy
• Avoid use on samples beyond the Measurement range
