Overview
Microcomputer paper softness tester IMT-RRD01 is a paper testing instrument that simulates the softness of the hand. It is designed according to the relevant provisions of the national standard GB8942 "Determination of Paper Softness" with reference to the principle of the American Handle-O-Meter instrument. It is mainly used for the softness measurement of sheet-like soft software materials such as medium and high-grade paper, Tobacco flakes, and fiber fabrics.

Principle
The instrument simulates the softness of the hand, presses the sample through Probe and measures the resistance, and measures the softness according to the national standard GB8942 "Determination of Paper Softness".

Steps
1. Prepare the sample and place it on the sample stand.
2. Select the appropriate slot-die width;
3. Start the instrument for testing.
4. Read and print the test results.
Notice
• Power supply voltage AC 220V +/- 22V, 50Hz;
• Before testing, check that the parallelism error of the sample table slot-die does not exceed 0.05mm.
• Periodically calibrate instruments using test weights;
• Avoid use in humid or corrosive environments.
