Overview
WH91 Single Iron Based Split Thickness Gauge is a Probe Coating thickness gauge developed and produced by IWAVE, which is especially suitable for measurement of difficult to reach positions such as groove surface, desktop bottom, window, etc., which can meet different measurement needs of customers.
Features
1. With power undervoltage indication function;
2. There is a beep prompt during the operation;
3. Can quickly and automatically identify ferrous and non-ferrous substrates.
4. There are two shutdown methods: manual shutdown and automatic shutdown.
5. Negative number display function to ensure the accuracy of zero point calibrating;
6, using magnetic thickness measurement method, suitable for non-magnetic layer thickness measurement on magnetic materials;
7. Single point calibrating and two point calibrating can be used for calibrating, and the basic calibrating method is used to correct the system error.
Principle
The instrument uses the principle of magnetic Induction for measurement, and is suitable for the thickness measurement of non-magnetically permeable coatings on magnetically permeable materials (such as steel, iron, silver, nickel).
Standards
GB/T 4956─1985、GB/T 4957─1985、JB/T 8393─1996、JJG 889─95、JJG 818─93
Steps
1. Carry out zero-point calibrating or two-point calibrating;
2. Probe contact with measurement surface;
3. Read the thickness value on the LED LCD screen.
Notice
• Ensure that the thickness of the substrate is not less than 0.4mm.
• Minimum measurement surface is 10 * 10mm
• Operating temperature range 0-40 ℃
• relative humidity not more than 85%
• Powered by two AA batteries
• Pay attention to the power undervoltage prompt
