The ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD) instrument emits high-frequency sound waves into the material to be detected. When the sound waves encounter defects (such as crazing or pores), some of the sound waves are reflected back to the Probe. The instrument receives these echo signals, analyzes their position, amplitude and time, automatically calculates the depth, horizontal distance, aperture and other parameters of the defect, and uses DAC, AVG, and TCG Linear dispersion for depth compensation to achieve High Accuracy Basis Weight and positioning detection.
