1. Before use, calibrate by standard Hardness block or equipped calibrating sleeve. 2. Align the instrument crimp vertically with the surface of the material to be tested. 3. Manually apply pressure for measurement. 4. Read the Hardness value displayed on the mechanical dial. 5. Wechsler Hardness values can be converted to Miscellaneous Hardness values (e.g. HRE, HV) as required.
