W-B92 Webster Hardness Tester (also known as the clamp hardness gauge) is a small Portable instrument based on the mechanical press-in Measurement principle, suitable for fast and easy measurement of hard metal Hardness, especially stainless steel. It does not require sampling in the measurement process and does not require high operating skills. The instrument is widely used in the stainless steel industry, door and window curtain wall enterprises, engineering Quality control and technical supervision departments, suitable for production quality control, qualification determination and batch product piece by piece inspection.
1. New materials and new technology are used to manufacture the pressing needle, with high Hardness, long life and good interchangeability. 2. High-strength pointer, not easy to bend and deform. 3. High strength, high toughness window glass, impact resistance is not easy to crack. 4. The upper handle is made of forged aluminum alloy material and treated with anodic oxidation, which is beautiful, wear-resistant and pollution-resistant. 5. Equipped with a standard Wechsler Hardness block verified by a standard Hardness machine and accompanied by a test report. 6. Small size, light weight, can be operated with one hand, easy to quickly measurement. 7. The testing process does not require sampling, and can achieve nondestructive testing, which is especially suitable for rapid inspection on the production site. 8. There are no strict restrictions on the shape of the material to be tested, and it is suitable for stainless steel of various shapes. 9. Equipped with a calibrating sleeve, it helps to reduce the error caused by multiple full-scale calibrating. 10. The operation is simple, and the operation skills have little impact on the reading, making it easy to learn. 11. The reading is convenient and can be easily converted to other Hardness values.
The W-B92 Webster Hardness Tester works based on the Crowd Measurement principle. By manual operation, the pin is pressed into the surface of the measured material to form a Crowd, and the instrument indicates the corresponding Hardness Value (HW) through the mechanical Display mode (pointer). The instrument can be calibrated by a standard Hardness block and is equipped with a calibrate sleeve to assist in the calibrating process.
Evaluate whether the stainless steel material has heat treatment and check the heat treatment effect, determine whether the material mechanical performance is qualified, judge whether the alloy composition of the stainless steel material is qualified, determine the Wechsler Hardness qualification value of the product to control the production process and product factory acceptance, on-site testing of long and heavy workpieces or accessories that are not convenient for sampling or inspection, stainless steel industry, door and window curtain wall enterprises, engineering Quality control and technical supervision departments
check standard block
1. Before use, ensure that the instrument is used in a clean, vibration-free, corrosion-free environment. 2. Use a standard Wechsler Hardness block to calibrate the instrument as needed. 3. For cases where full scale calibrating is required, manual calibrating can be performed. It is recommended to use the equipped calibrating sleeve to reduce errors. 4. Place the instrument jaws on the material to be tested (e.g. profiles, plates with a thickness of less than 13mm, or pipes with an inner diameter of more than 10mm). 5. Manual operation of the instrument for measurement, so that the needle is pressed into the material surface. 6. Read the Hardness value indicated by the pointer on the mechanical dial (HW, Measurement range 0~ 20HW, Accurate Measurement range 5~ 18HW). 7. The Wechsler Hardness value (HW) can be converted into a Miscellaneous Hardness value (e.g. 63~ 105 HRF) as required.
- The instrument should be used in a clean, vibration-free environment without corrosion medium. - This model (thick material type) is suitable for testing profiles, plates with a thickness of less than 13mm and pipes with an inner diameter of more than 10mm. - Please pay attention to the scope of application of the material (such as copper alloy, etc.) when measuring. - Periodically calibrate instruments using standard Hardness Blocks to ensure Measurement accuracy. - When performing full scale calibrating, it is recommended to use the equipped calibrating sleeve to reduce calibrating errors. When operating, please avoid applying undue external force to the instrument to protect the high-strength pointer and watch glass. - The measurement results (HW values) can be easily converted to Miscellaneous Hardness values, but attention should be paid to the accuracy of the conversion relationship.
