Overview
YANTE YT-IBT Interlayer bond strength tester is a professional equipment for the measurement of Cardboard Z-direction Tensile Strength (Internal Bond Strength). Z-direction Tensile Strength reflects the internal bonding ability of paper, which is crucial for controlling the processing mass of multi-layer paper and cardboard. Too low may lead to printing problems, and too high will increase the processing difficulty and cost. It is widely used in box Cardboard, White Cardboard, Greyboard Paper, White Cardboard and other tests in the printing and Encasement industries.
Features
1. The sample clamping force can be adjusted from 0 to 40 kg/cm ² to meet different testing requirements
2. Impact angle is fixed at 90 ° to ensure test conformity
3. High resolution up to 0.001lbf/in ², accurate measurement
4. Dual range design: A file (20~ 500) J/m ² and B file (500~ 1000) J/m ², covering a wide range of tests
5. Indication Error: A file +/- 1J/m ², B file +/- 2J/m ², reliable results
6. Unit switch support: J/m ² and lbf/in ², easy to use
7. Stable structure, weight 62Kg, suitable for laboratory environment
Principle
Impacted by a certain angle and weight, the instrument measures the absorbed energy and indicates the interlayer Peel Strength of the Cardboard. The internal bonding capacity of the paper is evaluated by quantifying the energy absorption value.
Applications
Cardboard, White Cardboard, White Cardboard, White Cardboard Internal Bond Strength Testing in Printing and Encasement Industry
Steps
1. Prepare a sample with a size of 25.4 * 25.4mm
2. Adjust the sample holding force to the required range (0~ 40kg/cm ²)
3. Fix the specimen to the instrument
4. Start the Impact Test with an Impact Angle of 90 °
5. Read the Peel Strength value displayed by the instrument
6. Record the results in units of J/m ² or lbf/in ²
Notice
• The working environment should be kept at 20 ° C +/- 10 ° C
• The environment needs to be clean and dusty, without strong magnetic field and strong vibration source
• The workbench should be made of solid cement, with a roughly horizontal countertop
• The power supply is AC 220V 50Hz and must be reliably grounded
• Avoid operating under unspecified conditions to prevent measurement errors
