PORUIKE BT-180C Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a smart measuring instrument that uses high-performance microprocessor technology and ultrasonic Measurement principle to measure the thickness of metals, plastics, ceramics and other materials, and to measure the Speed of sound. The instrument is mainly used to monitor the corrosion thinning of pipes, Pressure Vessel and other equipment in use, and can also make accurate measurements of various plates and processed parts. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aviation, aerospace and other fields.
1. Suitable for measurement of metal, plastic, ceramic, Glass and other ultrasonic conductor thickness. 2. Can be equipped with a variety of Frequency and Wafer Size Bi-Crystal Probes. 3. With Probe zero-point calibrating and two-point Adjustment, the system error can be automatically corrected. 4. Measurement accuracy can be improved by reverse measurement Speed of sound with known thickness. 5. With coupling status prompt function. 6. Equipped with EL backlight display, easy to use in dim environments with rays of light. 7. With the remaining power indicator function, the battery power can be displayed in real time. 8. With power-saving functions such as automatic sleep and automatic shutdown. 9. Compact, Portable, Reliability, Anti-Vibration, Impact and Electromagnetic Interference, Suitable for harsh environments.
The instrument works based on the Ultrasonic Measurement principle. Ultrasonic waves travel through the material under test and reflection occurs when they encounter a bottom surface or interface. The instrument calculates the thickness of the material by measuring the time it takes for ultrasonic waves to travel back and forth through the material, combined with the known Speed of sound. Users can also measure the Speed of sound of the material by the known thickness, thus improving the accuracy of subsequent measurements.

1. Power on and select Measurement mode (single point or scan). 2. Select the appropriate Probe according to the tested material and calibrate (zero point calibrate or two point calibrate). 3. Apply the coupling agent to the tested surface to ensure good coupling between the Probe and the tested object. 4. After the coupling state prompts normal, read and record the thickness Measured value. 5. After the measurement, you can store data or perform operations such as Speed of sound backmeasurement. 6. Shut down after use.
• To ensure that the Probe has good acoustic coupling with the surface of the object to be tested, a coupler is usually required. • Correct instrument calibration should be performed according to the material being measured before measurement. • For curved or specially shaped workpieces, choose the appropriate Probe and pay attention to Measuring location. • Pay attention to the battery level and replace the battery in time to ensure Measurement accuracy and normal operation of the instrument. • Instruments should avoid strong vibration, Impact and electromagnetic interference. When storing measurement data, be careful not to exceed the capacity of the instrument (2000 sets).
[A] No, it isn't. This is the ex-factory price of the product in the Chinese Mainland. In addition to this price, buyers from different countries need to account for additional costs such as shipping fees, tariffs, and others. For specific regional quotes, please consult our customer service or fill out a quotation form.
