Overview
The DR83S Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a Portable High Accuracy Thickness Gauge designed with a high-speed processor and highly integrated chip using ultrasonic measurement principles. It enables nondestructive, fast, and accurate measurement of the thickness and Speed of sound of a wide range of materials that can penetrate objects at constant speeds and generate reflected waves.

Principle
DR83S Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge works based on the ultrasonic Measurement principle. It emits ultrasonic waves to the measured object through Probe. The ultrasonic waves penetrate the object at a constant speed and generate reflected waves. The instrument determines the material thickness and sound speed by calculating the ultrasonic round-trip time.

Steps
1. Place the Probe on the contact surface on the side of the object being tested
2. Instrument automatic measurement and display thickness data
3. Optional to save measurement data manually
4. After use, you can choose to shut down manually or wait for automatic shutdown.
