Overview
The AISRY ASR-HB-150 yellowing resistance aging test chamber is a device for material aging and yellowing resistance performance testing. The device can perform two tests by simulating specific environmental conditions: one is the aging test, which causes the deterioration of the sulfurized rubber by heating to calculate the change of tension and elongation before and after heating. One day of testing at 70 ° C is theoretically equivalent to 6 months of atmospheric exposure; the other is the yellowing resistance test, which simulates the change of Appearance in the atmospheric environment exposed to ultraviolet rays from sunlight. Test at 50 ° C for 9 hours is theoretically equivalent to 8 months of atmospheric exposure.
Features
1. Two tests of aging and yellowing resistance can be performed.
2. OSRAM OSRAM 300W yellow-resistant bulb is used as the light source.
3. Equipped with LWD digital thermometer for accurate temperature control.
4. The turntable design rotates at 10 +/- 2rpm to ensure that the sample is heated evenly.
5. Wide time setting range, adjustable from 1 to 999 hours.
6. The inner box is made of SUS #304 stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant.
7. Temperature Uniformity up to +/- 1 ℃.
Principle
The device simulates the effect of the natural environment on the material by means of a heating system and a specific wavelength of ultraviolet light source (wavelength 365-400nm). During aging testing, the deterioration process of materials such as rubber is mainly accelerated by heating (Temperature range RT + 10~ 70 ° C). During yellowing resistance testing, the process of yellowing of materials (such as Color) caused by sunlight exposure is mainly simulated by ultraviolet irradiation supplemented by heating (such as 50 ° C). During testing, the sample is placed on a turntable at a uniform speed swirl/spin to ensure uniform heating and light exposure.
Applications
Sulfur rubber material testing, yellowing resistance testing of plastic products, material aging performance evaluation
Standards
JIS-P8127、ASTMD1148
Steps
1. Place the sample to be tested on the turntable of the equipment inner box.
2. Close the box door and turn on the power supply (220V).
3. Set the required test temperature on the temperature controller (LWD digital thermometer).
4. According to the test requirements (aging or yellowing resistance), set the corresponding test time (1-999 hours).
5. Start the device, turn on the heating and/or light source, and the turntable starts swirling/spinning.
6. The equipment will automatically stop after running to the set time.
7. Take out the sample and evaluate the performance or Appearance after the test.
Notice
The recommended service life of the equipment is 1000 hours, and it is necessary to pay attention to the regular inspection and replacement of the light bulb.
* Power supply voltage 220V, power 2KW, in line with equipment requirements.
When placing and removing samples, ensure that the equipment has stopped running and is powered off, and pay attention to safety.
* When the equipment is running, do not open the door frequently to avoid affecting the Temperature Uniformity in the box.
Regularly clean the inner box (SUS #304 stainless steel) to keep the equipment in good condition.
Non-professional personnel should not disassemble or modify the internal structure of the equipment.
