Overview
The TR-901 Soil ORP Meter is a LEICI brand instrument for in-situ testing of the Oxidation-reduction potential of fresh or wet soils. Oxidation-reduction potential (ORP/Eh) is a comprehensive indicator of soil environmental conditions. It characterizes the relative degree of oxidation or reduction of the medium. It has an important impact on soil chemistry and biological processes. It is an important parameter for understanding soil properties and processes. The product meets the standards of "HJ 746-2015 Determination of Soil Oxidation-reduction potential, Potentiometric method".

Principle
The TR-901 soil ORP meter works based on the principle of potentiometry, and is directly inserted into the soil through the matching special ORP Electrode and reference Electrode to measure the Oxidation-reduction potential of the soil. The instrument adopts two-channel ORP detection channel and the temperature compensation function to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.
Applications
Soil environment monitoring, soil chemistry research, soil biology research
Standards
"HJ 746-2015 Determination of Soil Oxidation-reduction potential Potentiometric method"
Steps
1. Insert the dedicated ORP Electrode, Reference Electrode and Stainless Steel Hollow Rod into the soil
2. Set parameters through the color Touchscreen navigation menu
3. Select temperature compensation mode (automatic or manual)
4. Perform 1 point or 2 point calibrate
5. Set data collection time
