Principle
The instrument uses the principle of ultrasonic pulse reflection for thickness measurement. When the ultrasonic pulse emitted by Probe reaches the surface of the measured material through the coupling agent, propagates inside the material, and reflects back when it encounters another interface (such as the bottom surface), the instrument can calculate the thickness of the material by measuring the time of ultrasonic wave propagation back and forth in the material, combined with the known Speed of sound of the material.

Steps
1. Press the ON/OFF key to turn it on.
2. Use the MENU key to open the menu for relevant settings.
3. Use the ▲ ▲ key to adjust.
4. Press ENTER to confirm after adjustment.
5. Before measurement, press the CAL key to calibrate.
6. Measured values can be manually stored by measuring and reading data.
7. The instrument will automatically shut down after five minutes of standby.
Notice
• It needs to be calibrated before measurement.
• After adjusting the parameters, press the confirm key (ENTER) to save.
• Ambient Temperature -10~ 60 ℃, relative humidity should be less than 90% RH.
• Please use 1.2-1 alkaline battery or rechargeable battery.
