Overview
The RDS 37 #1/4 Molded Applicator rod is a 6.35mm diameter molded coating applicator with a film thickness of 84.6μm. The product was developed to address the cleaning difficulties and impurity blockage problems of wire-wound coating rods. It is designed to process continuous grooves directly on the steel rod, and the film thickness is precisely controlled by the groove size. It is suitable for high viscosity Coating experiments.
Features
1. Molded design, no need to wrap steel wire, easy to clean and avoid impurity blockage
2. The film accuracy is marked as 0.1 micron, with high prepative accuracy
3. Suitable for High Viscosity Coating Experiment
4. Stainless steel material, strong durability
5. formed production process, mass stability
Principle
The Applicator rod uses the size of the groove to control the thickness of the Spreader Coating by machining it into a continuous groove shape on the steel rod. When Spreader, the Coating fills the groove, and the Coating is uniformly Spreader on the surface of the substrate through a formed process to form a film of precise thickness.
Applications
High viscosity Coating experiment, film prepative
Standards
Film accuracy is marked as 0.1 micron
Steps
1. Spreader Substrate and High Viscosity Coatings
2. Coating evenly in the Applicator rod groove area
3. Applicator rod moves on the substrate surface at appropriate speed and pressure
4. Clean Applicator rod in time after Spreader
Notice
• It should be cleaned in time after use to avoid Coating residue curing
• Avoid scratching the surface of the Applicator rod with hard objects to prevent damage to the groove
• Keep drying during storage to prevent rusting
• Pay attention to control Spreader speed and pressure during operation to ensure uniform film
