Overview
Paper and Cardboard thickness tester is a special instrument for measuring the film thickness of paper, Cardboard and Miscellaneous sheet materials. Its main technical indicators and performance parameters comply with the relevant provisions of the national standard GB4513 "Method for Determination of Paper and Cardboard Film thickness".
Features
1. Measurement range, up to 0~ 4mm.
2. The contact pressure is accurate, at 100 +/- 10kPa.
3. Contact area standard, 200 +/- 5mm ².
4. High parallelism of measurement surface, ≤ 0.0005mm.
5. High indication accuracy, error of +/- 0.0025mm/+/- 0.05%.
6. Good indication Stability, variability ≤ 0.0025mm or ≤ 0.5%.
7. High resolution, 0.01mm.
8. The instrument is lightweight, weighs about 5.5kg, Dimensions are small.
Principle
The instrument uses a measurement head with a standard contact area (200 +/- 5mm ²) to apply pressure to the tested sample at a specified contact pressure (100 +/- 10kPa), and uses the High Accuracy Displacement Sensor measurement measurement measurement head to change the distance between the reference plane, so as to accurately obtain the film thickness value of the sample.
Applications
Paper, Cardboard and Miscellaneous Film thickness determination
Standards
QB/T 1035 "Paper and Cardboard thickness tester", QB/T 451.3 "Paper and Cardboard Film thickness determination method", QB/T 1055 "Paper and Cardboard thickness tester", ISO 438 "Paper-laminated Film thickness and tightness determination", ISO 534 "Paper and Cardboard - Determination of single layer Film thickness and Cardboard tightness calculation method"
Steps
1. Place the instrument on a stable bench and connect the power supply.
2. Turn on the machine to warm up, so that the instrument reaches a stable state.
3. According to the type of material being tested, confirm and set the standard contact pressure (100 +/- 10 kPa).
4. Lift the measurement head and place the sample to be tested flat on the measurement table.
5. Slowly lower the measurement head so that it is in full contact with the sample.
6. After the display value is stable, read and record the Film thickness measurement value.
7. Lift the measurement head, take out the sample, and proceed to the next measurement.
Notice
• Before use, make sure the instrument is placed on a level, stable surface.
• The instrument needs to be preheated before measurement to ensure Measurement accuracy.
• When placing the sample, ensure that the sample is flat, wrinkle-free, and free of impurities in the measurement area.
• Operate the measurement head slowly and smoothly to avoid Impact.
• Regularly clean the measurement head and measurement table to prevent dust from affecting the measurement results.
• Do not use this instrument outside the Measurement range (0~ 4mm) or specified environmental conditions.
• Instruments should be stored in a drying, non-corrosive gas environment.
