Overview
This tester is suitable for inspection and evaluation of the combustion characteristics of plastic materials. It is designed and manufactured according to the relevant provisions of the US UL94 standard and GBT2408 standard "Flammability Test of Plastic Materials for Equipment and Appliance Components". It conducts horizontal and vertical flammability tests on plastic parts of equipment and appliances, and is equipped with a gas flow meter to adjust the flame size, simple and safe operation. This instrument can evaluate the flammability of materials or foam plastics such as: V-0, V-1, V-2, HB, HF-1, HF-2, HBF grades.
Features
1. Designed and manufactured according to UL94 and GBT2408 standards.
2. Horizontal and vertical flammability tests can be carried out.
3. Equipped with a gas flow meter, the flame size can be adjusted.
4. Test space ≥ 0.5m ³, with Glass observation door.
5. Flame application time and residual flame time can be set, with a wide range (0 to 99 minutes and 99 seconds).
6. The combustion angle can be adjusted (20 °, 45 °, 90 °).
The flame height can be adjusted from 20mm to 175mm according to the standard requirements.
8. Using motor drive, it can automatically align the positive spline (front, rear, left, right).
Principle
The instrument generates a standard flame through an adjustable combustion device, and regularly applies flame to the plastic sample in the horizontal or vertical direction. After the flame is applied, the combustion grade of the material (such as V-0, V-1, V-2, HB, etc.) is evaluated according to relevant standards (such as UL94) by observing and recording the residual flame time and combustion behavior of the sample.

Steps
1. Fix the specimen on the corresponding fixture as required (horizontally or vertically).
2. According to the test requirements, adjust the flame to a standard height (e.g. 20mm or 175mm) through a gas flow meter.
3. Set the required flame time.
4. Start the equipment, the combustion engine automatically aligns the sample and starts to apply flame.
5. After applying the flame, the device automatically records or the operator manually records the remaining flame time.
6. Observe the combustion behavior of the sample and determine the combustion grade according to the standard.
Notice
• Please make sure to be familiar with relevant standards such as UL94 and GBT2408 before operation.
• The test should be carried out in a well-ventilated environment with a test space of ≥ 0.5m.
When adjusting the flame height, it is necessary to strictly follow the standard requirements.
• Pay attention to the safety of gas use and keep away from open flames and flammable materials.
• The power supply of the device is AC 220V/50Hz, please make sure the power supply matches.
Do not open the observation door during the test to avoid affecting the test results or causing danger.
• Regularly check the combustion engine and gas pipeline to ensure no leakage.
