Overview
The AISRY ASR-4324 glowing wire tester is used to simulate the overheating heat source caused by fault current, component overload or poor contact in electrical and electronic products, and to evaluate the fire hazard of the product in a short period of time. The instrument is suitable for fire hazard testing and combustion performance testing of electrical and electronic products, household appliances and their materials.
Features
1. The test chamber adopts the left and right split design, the left part is the hot combustion chamber, and the right part is the electrical control room.
2. After the sample is clamped, it is automatically moved back and forth by the motor, and the test process is automatically controlled.
3. Apply and maintain a constant pressure of 1N through the weighting system, and control the pressing depth of 7mm with a limiting device.
4. Adopt control of the size of the scorching current to adjust the temperature, and cooperate with the temperature control instrument and K-type armored Thermocouple to achieve accurate temperature control and display.
5. Equipped with multiple digital display time relays for preset control of burning time (Ta), measurement of flame ignition time (Ti) and flame extinguishment time (Te).
Principle
The instrument is divided into a glowing combustion chamber and an electrical control chamber. The specimen is fixed on the sample trolley and moved to a fixed glowing wire probe by a motor. Under the action of weight, it is pressed into the glowing wire with a force of 1N, and the depth of pressing is limited to 7mm. The glowing time is preset controlled by a time relay. The temperature of the glowing wire is changed by adjusting the current flowing through it. Precise temperature control and monitoring are carried out using the temperature control instrument and Thermocouple. The flame initiation time and extinguishment time of the material can be recorded separately during the test.
Applications
Electrical and electronic products, household appliances and their materials are subject to fire hazard tests and combustion performance tests
Standards
IEC60695-2-10/11/12/13、IEC60669-1、IEC60884-1、UL1598、GB5169.10、GB5169.11、GB4706.1
Steps
1. Turn on the power switch.
2. Use the heating current regulator and heating start switch to heat the hot wire to the set temperature.
3. Install the specimen onto the sample holder.
4. Press the run start switch to move the sample trolley.
5. Press the test start switch to start the test.
6. The test (scorching) time T1 is automatically controlled by the Timer.
7. Observe the sample. When the flame ignites, operate the ignition timing stop switch (T2 stops). At this time, T2 stops timing and T3 starts timing.
8. When the flame is extinguished, operate the combustion timer stop switch (T3 stop) to record the extinguishing time.
9. After the test, press the test stop switch and the operation stop switch.
10. Use the heating stop switch to stop heating.
11. During the test, the lighting switch and fan switch can be operated as required.
Notice
• When the scorching wire is heating up, please close the door and observe to avoid burns.
• The power supply should use a three-pole socket with a reliable ground wire.
• Take care to protect the Thermocouple and glowing wire of the thermostat, and be careful not to damage the Thermocouple when cleaning the caking on the top of the glowing wire. Thermocouple is a consumable and is not covered by the warranty.
• Be sure to pay attention to polarity when replacing the Thermocouple.
• Do not turn on the lighting switch and exhaust (fan) switch during the burning process.
• If you find that the combustion flame of the hot material is too large, please immediately turn off the power switch, unplug the power cord, and use a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire.
