Overview
Cardboard thickness tester (model: ASR-5634) is a special instrument for measuring film thickness of paper, Cardboard and Miscellaneous sheet materials. Its main technical indicators and performance parameters meet relevant national standards and are suitable for a wide range of material Film thickness measurement needs.
Features
1. Measurement range, up to 0~ 20mm.
The contact pressure is accurate at 20 +/- 0.5 kpa.
3. Contact area standard, 10 +/- 0.2cm.
4. High parallelism of measurement surface, ≤ 0.035mm.
5. Indication Error is small, +/- 0.03mm.
6. High resolution, 0.01mm.
Principle
According to the relevant standards, the instrument applies a standard contact pressure (20 +/- 0.5kpa) to the measurement head with a standard contact area (10 +/- 0.2cm ²) to make contact with the sample, so as to accurately measure the Film thickness value of the sample.
Applications
Paper, Cardboard, Miscellaneous Sheet Material
Standards
QB/T 1035 "Paper and Cardboard thickness tester", QB/T 451.3 "Paper and Cardboard Film thickness determination method", QB/T 1055 "Paper and Cardboard thickness tester", ISO 438 "Paper-laminated Film thickness and tightness determination", ISO 534 "Paper and Cardboard - Determination of single layer Film thickness and Cardboard tightness calculation method"
Steps
1. Ensure that the working environment of the instrument meets the requirements (temperature (20 +/- 10) ℃, humidity < 85%).
2. Place the sample to be tested flat on the measurement table.
3. Operate the instrument to lower the measurement head and contact the sample at standard pressure.
4. Read and record the Film thickness value displayed by the instrument.
Notice
• Please check whether the instrument is in good condition before use.
• Ensure that the surface of the measurement sample is flat and clean.
• Handle with care during operation to avoid Impact on measurement head or sample.
• The instrument should be placed in an environment that meets the requirements.
• Measurement accuracy is regularly calibrated.
