Overview
XSD-9 biological microscope (student type) is produced by SHANGGUANG and is an instrument suitable for teaching and basic research. It is mainly used to observe various biological specimens under transmitted light, such as spores, rhizomes, pollen, insect organs and human routine laboratory samples, etc. It is widely used in school teaching, family education and clinical inspection.
Features
1. Provide a wide range of total magnification from 50X to 1600X.
2. Equipped with multiple sets of eyepieces (5X, 10X, 16X) and color difference objectives (10X, 40X, 100X oil glasses).
3. With different numerical apertures (0.25, 0.65, 1.25 N.A.) and working distances, it can adapt to a variety of observation requirements.
4. Equipped with a 120 x 120mm workbench and moving ruler, it is convenient for specimen positioning and movement.
5. The length of the mechanical barrel is 160mm, the focusing range is 35mm, and the operation is stable and easy to adjust.
Principle
The microscope works based on the principle of Optical inspection amplification. Illuminant emits transmitted light through the transparent biological specimen to be observed, and the specimen absorbs and refracts the light to form an object image. The rays of light are amplified in two stages through the objective lens and the eyepiece in turn, and finally form an enlarged virtual image for observation. By adjusting the focal length and moving the stage, a clear field of view can be obtained and different areas of the specimen can be observed.
Applications
General agricultural research, primary and secondary school teaching, family education, and clinical human body three routine tests
Standards
The data did not mention specific compliance criteria.
Steps
1. Place the Microscope smoothly on the console, turn on the power and turn on the Illuminant.
2. Place the biological specimen to be observed in the center of the stage and fix it with a moving ruler.
3. swirl/spin objective converter, align the low power objective (such as 10X) with the through hole.
4. Slowly lower the lens barrel through the coarse focusing handwheel, and observe from the side to bring the objective lens close to the specimen (but do not touch).
5. Observe through the eyepiece, and slowly turn the coarse focusing handwheel to lift the lens barrel until a blurred object image appears.
6. Use the fine-focus handwheel to make fine adjustments until a clear image is obtained.
7. If you need a higher magnification, you can switch to a high-magnification objective (such as a 40X or 100X oil lens) and use fine-tuning to refocus. When using a 100X oil lens, add fragrant tar to the specimen.
8. After the observation is completed, remove the objective lens, remove the specimen, turn off the power, and clean the lens and stage.
Notice
When moving the Microscope, you should hold the mirror arm in one hand, hold the mirror seat in the other, and handle it with care.
• Do not touch the Optical inspection lens (eyepiece, objective lens) directly with your hands, and use a special wiperfor lens when cleaning.
When adjusting the focal length, be sure to observe from the side to prevent the objective from crushing the specimen.
• When using high-power mirrors (especially 100X oil mirrors), be extra careful to avoid damage to the lens. After using the oil mirror, use the wiperfor lens dipped in a small amount of Xylene to wipe the cedar oil on the lens in time.
When observing specimens, the order should be followed from low to high.
• When the instrument is not in use, the Illuminant should be closed, covered with a dust cover, and stored in a drying place.
