Overview
Trinocular Polarized Microscope BM-11 is a microscope produced by SHANGGUANG using a transmission lighting system with stable performance and clear imagery. It is mainly used for the observation and identification of various transparent crystals, rocks, minerals and birefringent substances. It is also suitable for scientific and industrial applications such as Spinning & weaving fiber inspection, mineral analysis and crystal observation.
Features
1. Adopt a trinocular observation head for easy connection of the camera device for image acquisition.
2. Equipped with wide field flat field eyepiece and color difference elimination objective, providing a total magnification of 40X to 1600X.
3. The observation head is a hinged binocular tube, with a 30 ° tilt and 360 ° swirl/spin, and the pupil distance is adjustable from 55-75mm.
4. The stage is a 360 ° swirl/spin round table with a diameter of φ 135mm, with precise scale.
5. Equipped with a 1.25NA Abbe condenser, a polarizer that can be removed from the optical path, and optical path compensators such as lambda test plate and 1/4 lambda test plate.
6. Adopt built-in dimming 6V/20W halogen lighting system.
Principle
The microscope works based on the principle of polarization. Illuminant light passes through the polarizer and becomes polarized light, which is irradiated to the sample with birefringence characteristics. After the ray of light passes through the sample, its polarization state changes and then passes through the polarizer. By observing and analyzing the interference image transmitted through the polarizer, the crystal structure and Optical inspection properties of the sample can be identified.
Applications
Geological research, university teaching, R & D institutions, mineral analysis, crystal observation and inspection, Spinning & weaving industry fiber inspection, chemical fiber industry
Standards
The data did not mention specific compliance criteria.
Steps
1. Turn on the power and turn on the lighting system.
2. Place the sample to be tested in the center of the stage.
3. Adjust the sample to clear imagery by swirling/spinning coarse fine focus handwheel.
4. Adjust the pupil distance between the eyes to make it comfortable for both eyes to observe.
5. According to the observation needs, rotate the stage or adjust the polarizer and polarizer angles.
6. If you need to use a high-power oil lens (100X), please add fragrant tar between the objective lens and the sample.
7. After the observation is completed, turn off the power and clean the lens and stage.
Notice
When moving the Microscope, hold the base and mirror arm with both hands and handle it with care.
* Do not touch the Optical inspection lenses (eyepieces, objectives, etc.) directly with your hands, and use special lens paper when cleaning.
* After using the high-power oil mirror (100X), be sure to wipe off the oil stains with a small amount of detergent (such as Xylene) dipped in the lens paper in time.
When adjusting the focal length, avoid collisions between the objective lens and the slide, especially when using a spring objective.
* Before replacing the Illuminant bulb, make sure the instrument is powered off and completely chilled down.
* The instrument should be used and stored in a drying, clean, non-corrosive gas environment.
