LD0550 Shore hardness gauge is a type A Shore hardness gauge imported by TQC in the Netherlands. Principle
The LD0550 Shore hardness gauge measures the Hardness of materials by the Cedar method and is suitable for soft materials such as coatings, plastics, rubber, etc. It is designed with a type A hardness gauge. The Hardness value is obtained by applying standard pressure and measuring the Cedar depth. The results can be read directly from the dial and are equipped with a resistance indicator to store the highest measurement results.

Steps
1. Place the hardness gauge vertically on the surface of the material to be tested;
2. Apply standard pressure to ensure that the indenter is in full contact with the material.
3. Read the Hardness value on the dial;
4. Use the resistance indicator to record the highest measurement result.
Notice
- Ensure that the hardness gauge is placed vertically to avoid tilting affecting the Measurement accuracy;
The surface of the material to be tested should be flat, clean, and free of impurities.
- Clean the indenter after use to avoid residues affecting the next measurement;
- Regularly calibrate hardness gauge to ensure measurement accuracy;
- Avoid use in extreme temperatures or Humidity environments to prevent damage to the instrument.
