Overview
The JFL QDX multi-purpose detector is a multi-purpose detector that can test various performance tests of organic coatings, including organic coating film thickness (total thickness of multilayer film, single layer film thickness, film thickness), cross-cut adhesion, Buchholz Che Hardness. In addition, the QDX multi-purpose detector can be used to study film pinholing, potholes, crazing, bubbles, flaking, substrate treatment mass and other phenomena between films. The QDX has the characteristics of high resolution +/- 0.001mm and intuitive measurement.

Principle
The QDX paint film multi-purpose detector uses different specifications of tools to make V-shaped incisions, lattice pattern cuts or Che according to the needs of different tests. The Coating thickness value, film disbonding phenomenon and the image generated by Che can be directly observed by the Microscope. The scale of the instrument has been converted into the corresponding micron number by the calibrate coefficient, so the actual thickness and Che length of the measured paint film can be read directly from the Microscope.

Steps
1. Select the corresponding specification of the tool according to the test needs
2. V-notch, grid pattern cutting or Cutting operation on the coating
3. Microscope direct observation of Coating thickness, film disbonding and Cedar image
4. Read the actual thickness and length of the tested paint film directly from the Microscope
Notice
• Make sure that the instrument ruler has been converted by the calibrating factor before use
• Select the corresponding cutting knife angle and specification according to different test requirements
• Keep the measurement surface clean and flat during operation
• When testing, ensure that the payload is 500 +/- 5g
