Overview
The Netherlands TQC SP1900 Brinell Cedar hardness meter is a special standard Hardness testing equipment for hardness testing using the Cedar experimental method, which conforms to a variety of international standards, such as ISO2815. The hardness testing of this instrument has been recognized by Qualicoat, QIB, GSB laboratories. The needle and cutting section are made of hardened steel and have good Abrasion Resistance. The complete set of instruments includes anti-skid scratch wheels marked with scales, illuminated measurement Microscopes, level gauges, digital dual Timers and sample labels.
Features
1. SP1900 Brinell hardness tester indenter laid Cang base
2, the needle and cutting part of the indenter is made of hardened steel, abrasion resistance is very good
3. High-quality Microscope and Precision Optical inspection Glass lenses and powerful lighting allow us to clearly see the unobservable Cedar mark
4, double timer can be preset to set the "in place" time and "recovery" time
5, independent level, used to calibrate the horizontal position of the test plate before performing the test
Principle
The SP1900 Brinell Cedar hardness meter adopts the Cedar experimental method for hardness testing, forms Cedar on the coating surface by applying a specific weight indenter, and then uses Microscope measurement to measure the Cedar length, finds the resistance value corresponding to the Brinell table according to the Cedar length or uses the formula BH = 100/L to calculate the Hardness value.
Applications
Automobile, painting industry, galvanizing, laboratory, paints
Standards
EN ISO NF2815-2003、BS3900E9、ECCAT12-1985、NFT30-052
Steps
1. The test should be carried out in an environment of 23 +/- 2 ° C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity
2, SP1900 Brinell hardness meter measurement Coating thickness minimum 3-45μm (according to Brinell table)
3, the tested coating should be flat and clean
4. Use a level to ensure that the test panel is in a horizontal position
5. Use the template to mark the points for testing and corresponding test positions
6. Check the SP1900 Brinell Crane hardness meter Crane body (weight, wheels and fixed points) and make sure they are free of dust
7. Gently and without tilt or lateral movement, place the Cedar body on the test board, place the needle in the appropriate position, then slowly lower the indenter until it touches the test board, and turn on the timer T1
8. After 30 seconds, move the TQC Indentation hardness tester on the surface of the test board and press T2.
Recovery period after 9 and 35 seconds Microscope measurement of Crane length (L)
10. Find the Cedar length L and find the resistance value corresponding to the Bush table or use the formula BH = 100/L
Notice
• The test should be carried out in an environment of 23 +/- 2 ° C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity
• The coating to be tested should be flat and clean
• Use a level to ensure that the test panel is in a horizontal position
• Check the Crane fuselage to make sure there is no dust
• Place the Cedar body gently and without tilting or lateral movement
• Do not apply any pressure to the indenter during removal of the indenter
