Overview
CHENCHI ZRD-1000 softness tester is a professional instrument for measuring the softness of sheet-like soft software materials such as medium and high-quality paper, sheet, and fiber fabrics.
Features

Principle
The instrument drives the probe through a stepper motor, presses the sheet material placed on a specific slot-die specimen stage at a constant speed to a set depth, and uses the High Accuracy Force Sensor to measure the force value of the material against bending deformation. The force value reflects the softness of the material.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate slot-die width (5mm, 6.35mm, 10mm or 20mm) according to the sample.
2. Place the specimen flat on the specimen table.
3. Set test parameters through the touchscreen.
4. Start the test, and the instrument automatically completes the probe indentation and force value measurement.
5. After the test is completed, the screen displays and stores the results, and the data report can be printed through the built-in thermal printer.
Notice
• Power supply voltage AC220V 50Hz before use.
• When placing the sample, ensure that it is flat to reduce test errors.
• Regularly check the parallelism of the sample table slot-die and the centering of the probe to ensure that the accuracy requirements are met.
• The instrument should be placed on a stable table to avoid vibration during the test.
• Do not use beyond the range (10~ 1000mN).
• Please disconnect the power supply during cleaning and maintenance.
