The three-caliber color difference meter DR-18 is a China color difference meter with independent property rights. It is equipped with three measurement diameters of 8mm platform, 4mm platform and 40mm metal. It has the advantages of accurate data, simple operation and easy portability. It adopts low power consumption design and is matched with a 3200mAh large-capacity lithium battery to ensure long-term measurement work. The instrument combines CQCS3 quality management software to realize Color data management on the PC side, which is convenient for Color comparison, generation of test reports and high-level color management.

Principle
The three-aperture color difference meter DR-18 uses 8 °/d illumination to illuminate the sample with an LED light source. The Sensor (silicon photodiode) receives the reflected light signal and converts the light signal into chromatic value through the built-in Optical inspection system and data processing unit. The instrument uses ETC real-time calibrate technology, and the internal standard whiteboard will be calibrated during each test to ensure data accuracy. The matching CQCS3 software further analyzes, compares and manages the measurement data.

Steps
1. Turn it on and the instrument will automatically correct.
2. According to the characteristics of the sample to be tested (such as size, surface, texture, etc.), select and switch the appropriate measurement diameter (φ 8mm, φ 4mm or φ 40mm).
3. Use the light positioning and cross positioning functions to align the tested area.
4. Press the measurement button for measurement, and the measurement time is about 1.5 seconds.
5. Read chromatic values, color difference values or pass/fail results on the instrument display.
6. You can connect to a PC through a USB interface and use CQCS3 software for data export, analysis, comparison, and report generation.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is used and stored within the range of operating environment temperature (0~ 40 ℃) and storage environment temperature (-20~ 50 ℃).
• Before measurement, choose the measurement caliber correctly according to the sample characteristics (such as small part curved surface, plane, texture or rough wet surface).
• To ensure measurement accuracy, clean and maintain the standard whiteboard regularly to avoid dirt.
• When using light positioning and cross positioning, make sure to align with the measured part to improve measurement efficiency.
• When not in use for a long time, it is recommended to charge the built-in lithium battery regularly to maintain battery activity.
