Principle
The instrument uses 8 °/d illumination and LED light source. After the ray of light shines on the sample surface, the reflected light is received by the silicon photodiode Sensor. The instrument calibrates in real time (ETC technology) through the built-in Optical inspection system and standard whiteboard to calculate and convert the chromatic value of the sample. With a variety of Color spaces and Color difference formulas, Color differences can be accurately quantified, and data management and analysis can be carried out through PC software.

Steps
1. Turn it on and the instrument will automatically correct.
2. According to the characteristics of the sample to be tested (such as plane, curved surface, texture, concave surface, etc.), choose the appropriate measurement diameter (φ 8mm platform, φ 4mm platform, φ 4mm tip or φ 40mm large diameter).
3. Use lighting positioning and crosses to align the tested area.
4. Press the measurement button for measurement, and the measurement time is about 1.5 seconds.
5. View chromatic value, color difference value, pass/fail result and Color bias data on the instrument screen.
6. You can connect to a PC through a USB interface and use CQCS3 software for data export, comparison, analysis, and report generation.
Notice
• Please use the instrument at the operating environment temperature of 0~ 40 ° C (32~ 104 ° F).
• The storage environment temperature of the instrument is -20~ 50 ° C (-4~ 122 ° F).
• Ensure that the measurement diameter is clean to avoid contamination affecting the measurement accuracy.
• Use imported standard whiteboard to calibrate, the whiteboard is resistant to yellowing, dirty and can be wiped, please keep it properly.
• The instrument has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery, please charge it according to the specifications.
The lighting source has a long lifespan and can support more than 1.60 million measurements under normal use conditions.
• For special samples such as powder, it is recommended to use the optional accessory powder test box for measurement.
