Principle
The color difference meter adopts 8 °/d illumination mode, uses an LED light source to illuminate the sample, and receives the reflected light signal through a silicon photodiode Sensor. The internal Optical inspection system of the instrument has a built-in standard whiteboard and applies ETC real-time calibrating technology to calibrate before each measurement to ensure the accuracy and Repeatability of the data. The measurement data is calculated by the processor, and various results such as chromatic value and color difference value are displayed on the TFT true color display screen, and can be connected to the PC-side CQCS3 software through the USB interface for data management and analysis.

Steps
1. Turn it on and the instrument will automatically correct.
2. According to the characteristics of the tested sample (such as plane, curved surface, texture, concave surface, small area, etc.), choose the appropriate measurement caliber (φ 8mm platform, φ 4mm platform, φ 40mm large diameter or φ 4mm tip).
3. Use the light positioning and cross positioning functions to align the test area.
4. Press the measurement button for measurement, and read the display results (chromatic value, color difference value/picture, qualified/unqualified results, Color bias, etc.) after about 1.5 seconds.
5. The measurement data can be stored in the instrument (100 master standards, 20,000 samples), or connected to a PC via USB interface, using CQCS3 software for data analytics, comparison and report generation.

• Please ensure that the instrument is used within the operating environment temperature range of 0~ 40 ° C (32~ 104 ° F).
• The storage environment temperature of the instrument is -20~ 50 ° C (-4~ 122 ° F).
• Please confirm that the battery is fully charged before use to ensure long-term measurement work.
• Select the appropriate measurement caliber to adapt to different samples (e.g. 4mm platform for small part curved surface, 8mm platform for flat surface, 40mm caliber for rough or wet surface, 4mm nozzle for concave or small area).
• When measuring, please use the light positioning and cross positioning functions to ensure alignment with the measured part to improve measurement accuracy.
• The standard whiteboard built into the instrument can be wiped clean, do not use corrosive liquids to maintain its long-term accuracy.
When connecting PC software, make sure to use the specified CQCS3 quality management software for data management.
• Optional accessories (e.g. micro printers, powder test kits) should be used according to the corresponding instructions.
