Overview
The YN-YSB3000 microcomputer Edge Crush Test tester is a testing instrument for measuring the vertical compressire strength of corrugated boxes on one side. The instrument ensures that the samples are parallel by accurately guiding the platen to ensure the smoothness and repeatability of the test results. It is suitable for Edge Crush Test (RCT), gluing Peel Strength Test (PAT), Flat Crush Test (FCT) of corrugated boxes, and Ring Crush Test (RCT) of corrugated base paper, CCT and CMT tests after corrugation in the base paper laboratory.

Principle
The test principle is that the rectangular Cardboard specimen is placed between the two pressure plates of the compression tester, and the corrugation direction of the specimen is perpendicular to the two pressure plates of the tester. Then apply pressure to the sample until the sample is crushed, so as to determine the ultimate pressure that the sample can withstand.

Steps
1. According to the test requirements (e.g. side pressure, ring pressure, gluing, etc.), prepare the corresponding samples and special fixtures (e.g. side pressure guide block, ring pressure center plate, gluing fixture, etc.).
2. Place the specimen accurately between the two platens of the instrument to ensure that the corrugated direction of the specimen is perpendicular to the platen, and use a guide device to ensure that the specimen is parallel.
3. Select or set the corresponding test program and parameters (such as pressurization speed) on the 7-inch Touchscreen.
4. Start the test, and the instrument automatically applies pressure to the sample until it collapses.
5. After the test is completed, the instrument automatically returns to determine and save the crushing force data, and the results can be output through the built-in thermal printer.
Notice
• Before testing, ensure that the sample size meets the standard requirements and use a dedicated Sampler (e.g., edge pressure Sampler, ring pressure Sampler) for accurate sampling.
When placing the sample, it is necessary to ensure that its corrugated direction is perpendicular to the platen, and a guide block is used to ensure that the sample is parallel to the platen to obtain accurate test results.
• When the instrument is running, do not touch the area between the upper and lower pressure plates to avoid danger.
When testing continuously for a long time, pay attention to the working status of the built-in heat dissipation system of the instrument.
• Regularly check and maintain the guide device, screw and other moving parts of the instrument to ensure its accuracy and flexibility.
• When conducting different test items, be sure to replace the corresponding special fixtures, such as guide blocks for edge pressure testing, fixtures for gluing testing, etc.
• The instrument has an overload protection function, but it is still necessary to avoid using it beyond its rated force range (0~ 3000N) and Travel range (1~ 80mm).
