Overview
PY-H614 paper Air Permeability tester is a special instrument designed and produced by PUYUN according to the national standard QB/T1667, which is used to detect the Air Permeability performance of paper and other materials. It is suitable for cement bag paper, paper bag paper, cable paper, copy paper and industrial filter paper and other paper types. The measurement Air Permeability range is between 1 × 10-2 and 1 × 102um/(Pa. S), but it is not suitable for paper with large surface roughness.
Features
1. Measurement range, A file (0~ 1000ml/min), B file (0~ 5000ml/min), C file (0~ 10000ml/min), D file (0~ 100000ml/min) multi-gear selection, of which B, C, D file is optional.
The standard sample test area is 10 +/- 0.2cm ², and the sample should be larger than this size.
3. The standard test pressure difference is 1 +/- 0.01kPa, and the Miscellaneous pressure difference can be customized for special materials.
4. Using 304 #stainless steel Air Permeability measurement fixture, anti-aging silicone sealing.
5. Measurement accuracy is high, +/- 1ml (< 100ml) and +/- 5ml (> 100ml).
6. Shelf measuringflask is made of corrosion resistant material to eliminate corrosion problems.
7. The barometer bracket is an aluminum alloy anode treatment anti-corrosion structure.
8. The catheter is made of silicone to prevent aging.
9. The valve is made of pure copper to avoid rusting the valve.

Principle
Based on the principle of the Schopper method, the instrument measures Air Permeability by measuring the Flow rate of air through a paper specimen at a standard pressure difference. The specimen is held in a measurement fixture, the standard pressure difference is applied, and the air flows through the specimen. The instrument accurately measures Flow rate and calculates Air Permeability values.

Steps
Prepare the specimen to ensure that the size is 10 +/- 0.2 cm ² larger than the standard test area.
2. Place the specimen in 304 #stainless steel measurement fixture to ensure sealing.
3. Select the appropriate measurement gear (A, B, C or D) according to the test requirements.
4. Set the standard test pressure difference to 1 +/- 0.01kpa or adjust as needed.
5. Start the instrument and measure the Flow rate of air through the sample.
6. Record the measurement results, and the instrument automatically calculates the Air Permeability value.
7. Sexual repeability test to ensure data accuracy.
Notice
• Not suitable for paper with large surface roughness.
• Specimen size must be greater than the standard test area by 10 +/- 0.2cm.
• Ensure that the Ambient Temperature is between 0 and 35 ° C and the Humidity is below 85% before testing.
• Regularly check silicone ducts and seals to prevent aging from affecting Measurement accuracy.
• Clean the measurement fixture after use to avoid residue affecting the next test.
• When testing special materials, the differential pressure setting needs to be customized according to requirements.
