Overview
The American Defelsko PosiTector UTG C1 ultrasonic wall thickness meter is an instrument dedicated to the measurement of material wall thickness, suitable for steel, plastic and other materials. Especially suitable for tanks, pipe walls and other structures that can only be measured on one side and are affected by corrosion or erosion. The instrument is the standard model of the PosiTector UTG C series, with 250 measurement reading storage space, and the measurement thickness range is 1~ 125mm.

Principle
Ultrasonic technology is used for measurement, and ultrasonic signals are transmitted and received through the 5MHz dual-element Sensor to calculate the material wall thickness. It has the function of automatic V-way compensation for thin materials to ensure measurement accuracy.
