Overview
The PUYUN PY-606D automatic thickness tester is a High Accuracy mechatronics testing instrument. It adopts modern mechanical design concepts and ergonomic principles, with novel design, easy use and excellent performance. Equipped with High Accuracy Displacement Sensor, the instrument has the functions of testing, conversion, display, memory, printing and data processing, and is suitable for papermaking, Encasement, scientific research and product mass supervision and inspection industries.

Principle
The instrument detects the thickness of the material through the High Accuracy Displacement Sensor. Under the set contact pressure, the probe drops to the measurement surface at an adjustable speed, and calculates the thickness value according to the feedback data of the Sensor. The built-in microcomputer system processes the data and displays the results, and supports functions such as automatic calculation of tightness.

Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power and set the parameters through the LCD Touchscreen
2. Select options such as number of measurements and speed
3. Place the sample in the measurement area
4. Start the test, the probe automatically drops the measurement
5. The instrument automatically calculates and displays thickness data
6. Optional printing results or data processing
Notice
* The working environment needs to be kept at temperature (20 +/- 10) ℃, Humidity < 85%
* Ensure that the measurement plane parallelism meets the requirements
* Contact pressure and voltage regulation time need to be adjusted according to the material type
* Regularly calibrate instruments to ensure Measurement accuracy
* Avoid use in vibration or strong electromagnetic interference environment
