The DONGRU DR87S Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a Portable thickness gauge designed with a high-speed processor and a highly integrated chip using ultrasonic measurement principles. It provides nondestructive, fast and accurate measurement of thickness and Speed of sound of a variety of materials. It is suitable for metals, quartz, Glass, plastics and other materials. It has two modes of standard measurement and penetrating coating measurement. Direct measurement of substrate thickness without sanding paints.

Principle
The thickness gauge uses the ultrasonic Measurement principle to penetrate the object at a constant speed and generate reflected waves. After the surface of the measured object is coated with a coupling agent, the Probe is placed on the contact surface on the side of the measured object to quickly and accurately measure the thickness.
