RDS 15 #3/8\ "Molding Applicator rod is an American RDS brand of High Accuracy inks scraping rod, which is used by NBchao as a general agent in China to ensure the supply mass. The product is manufactured by molding process, which is easy to clean, and the film thickness is 34.3μm. It is suitable for scraping operations in various inks fields.

Principle
The RDS Applicator rod controls the film thickness with precise rod number design, and uses a formed production process to form a uniform wet-film on the substrate. When used, an inks coating of the specified thickness is formed on the test surface by a scraping operation for subsequent mass evaluation and analysis.

Steps
1. Prepare test substrates and inks samples
2. Spreader inks in front of Applicator rod
3. Carry out the scraping operation at the appropriate angle and speed
