Overview
American RDS 23 #3/8 "Grooved Rods film applicator is a professional experimental film tool with a film thickness of 52.6 microns, a rod diameter of 9.5mm, and an application width of 300mm. Made of 304 stainless steel, with high Abrasion Resistance, a total length of 400mm and 50mm hand-held parts at both ends. It can be used directly without a matching handle. It is suitable for experimental films in inks, printing, Encasement, paper and other fields, and can be used with the Experimental Film Applicator.
Features
1. The film thickness is accurate to 52.6 microns
2. Made of 304 stainless steel, High Abrasion Resistance
3. Overall length 400mm, application width 300mm
4. There are 50mm hand grips at both ends, no need for matching handles
5. Suitable for Experimental Film Applicators
Principle
The film applicator uses a formed production process in which a stainless steel bar is rolled over the surface of the substrate to form a uniform coating Spreader into a wet-film of a specified thickness. The special winding structure of the bar controls the amount of paint transfer, ensuring an accurate film thickness of 52.6 microns.
Applications
Inks, printing, Encasement, paper
Steps
1. Spreader substrate and coating
2. Handheld film applicator 50mm at both ends
3. Place the film applicator on one end of the substrate
4. Spreader the film applicator at uniform speed
5. Clean the film applicator for next use
Notice
• Make sure the film applicator is clean and drying before use
• Spreader at a uniform speed
• Avoid collision damage to bar winding structure
• Clean in time after use to prevent coating curing
• Avoid crushing with Miscellaneous tools during storage
