Overview
RDS 70 #3/8\ "Molded Applicator rod is a 3/8 inch diameter stainless steel film applicator. It adopts a formed production process with a film thickness of 160.0 μm and an effective application width of 30cm. The product is specially designed for paint paste, colorants, glue and other sample film scraping samples. It conforms to the trend of domestic new bar users. It has the characteristics of easy cleaning and unbroken wire. The film effect is similar to wire-wound, only slightly different in Coat Weight due to different groove shapes.

Principle
The RDS Applicator rod is scraped on the surface of the sample through the formed process to form a uniform wet-film. Its groove shape design ensures stable Coat Weight and consistent film effect with wire-wound, which is suitable for film preparation of various Stock samples.

Steps
1. Prepare Sample Stock and Substrate.
2. Applicator rod is placed on the substrate.
3. Apply uniform pressure and scrape along the surface of the substrate.
4. After finishing the film, clean Applicator rod for next use.

• Applicator rod clean before use to avoid contamination of sample.
• Spreaders maintain uniform pressure for uniform film thickness.
• Wash in time after use to prevent Stock residue.
• Avoid violent collisions to protect Applicator rod structures.
