Overview
Defelsko PosiTest F is a mechanical magnetic Coating thickness gauge with a textured housing design, which is waterproof, oil, acid and solvent. The instrument has a thickness scale dial and pulley on the front and a wear-resistant magnetic Probe on the bottom. The operation is simple, fast, stable and accurate measurement. Measurement range is 0~ 2000μm, suitable for small part measurement.

Principle
PosiTest F uses the principle of magnetic Induction for Coating thickness measurement. Coating thickness is indicated by the magnetic interaction between the permanent magnetic Probe and the substrate, combined with mechanical dial and sound prompts.

Hot dip galvanized, hard chrome, paints, enamel on steel
Steps
1. Place the Coating thickness gauge vertically on the measured object so that the Probe touches the surface of the measured object
2. Press the GO/NO-GO button of the thickness gauge (gold button)
3. Gently turn the wheel until you hear a "click". At this time, the thickness indicated by the dial pointer is the measured Coating thickness.
Notice
• Keep the instrument vertically placed during measurement
• Ensure that the Probe is in full contact with the surface of the object being tested
• When operating, dial the wheel lightly until you hear the prompt tone
Measurement range is limited to 0~ 2000μm
• accuracy of +/- 5μm within 100μm and +/- 5% of reading beyond 100μm
