Overview
Japan OSP-35 L1000φ 16 formed steel wire scraping rod (Metering rod) is a custom production line rod used to control Spreader flow and maintain coating uniformity in paper, film and other production equipment. It is made of stainless steel, which has anti-rust and wear resistance. It is an original imported product from Japan with a rod diameter of 16mm, a Spreader width of 1000mm, and a controlled Coating thickness of 35 microns.
Features
1. Made of stainless steel, rust-proof and Abrasion Resistance is better.
2. As a D-Bar series product, it solves the problem of loose and broken wires that are prone to occur in traditional steel wire scrapers.
3. Compared to traditional winding rods, the bottom of the groove is wider, usually enabling a larger amount of Spreader.
4. D-Bar technology can achieve ultra-thin Spreader, with a minimum control of 1.5μm wet film thickness.
5. The surface is treated by chrome plating process.
Principle
Spreader liquid on the substrate surface using D-Bar Grooved Rods to scrape and adjust the amount of liquid, thereby controlling the film thickness and uniformity of the coating.

Steps
1. Spreader liquid on the substrate surface.
2. Use the D-Bar to scrape through the Spreader area, adjusting and scraping away excess liquid.
